Our process

Four steps, one visit, done in a day for most units.

1

Clean & prep

Wash off dirt, oxidation, mildew and debris, then wire wheel the perimeter and vents so the coating actually grips.

2

Seal seams

Every seam, penetration and skylight sealed with compatible sealant before a drop of coating goes on.

3

Coat it

High-solids silicone at 35–60 mil per manufacturer spec — a durable, fully cured membrane.

4

Result

Leaks stop. Rust stops spreading. Surface temperature drops. You stop worrying about the roof.

Real jobs

Not stock photos — these are trailers we coated here in Florida.

Trailer roof masked with blue tape around every vent and skylight before coating
Masked and prepped Every vent, skylight and edge taped off before a drop of silicone goes on. This is the step that makes the difference.
Finished silicone roof coating on a horse trailer, sealed around the vents
Coated and sealed High-solids silicone at 35–60 mil, vents sealed in, seams gone. One continuous membrane with nowhere for water to get in.
Coated trailer roof edge next to an uncoated weathered trailer
The edge — where roofs fail first Wrapped and sealed right over the lip. The weathered roof behind it is what yours looks like without this.

…spotted a small leak I had coming through my RV and fixed it and then put a fresh coating on the roof. Honestly I can tell a difference in how much cooler the RV is now.

Why coat it at all?

A trailer roof fails slowly, then all at once. Silicone coating is the difference between a maintenance item and a rebuild.

  • Stops active leaks without tearing off the roof
  • Seals the seams and screws that always go first
  • Reflects sun — noticeably cooler for the horses inside
  • Stops surface rust before it eats through
  • Costs a fraction of replacing decking or a membrane
