Coating the roof stops the heat coming through the top. Insulation panels stop it radiating into the space where the horses actually stand. We install roof and wall insulation panels and finished interior wall panels — the pair of them together is what turns a hot aluminum box into something you can haul in through a Florida summer.
They do different jobs. Coating reflects heat off the outside and waterproofs the roof; insulation stops what does get through from radiating down onto the horses. Done together they make the biggest difference.
