Most RV roof leaks start at a seam, a vent collar or a skylight — not in the middle of the panel. We find them, fix them, and then seal the whole roof under a high-solids silicone membrane so there is no seam left to fail. Slide-out tops can be coated at the same time.
We fix it first. Coating over an unfound leak just hides it. On one 32 ft motorhome we spotted a leak the owner had been chasing, repaired it, then coated the roof.
Yes, priced per slide on top of the roof price.
For a roof that is weathered but structurally sound, coating costs a fraction of a replacement and leaves one continuous membrane. Damaged decking is a different job and we will tell you honestly if that is what you are looking at.
